If you happen to be holding a Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card in your wallet, don't forget that today is the first Friday of December, which means you are able to earn 3X points on any dining purchases on the card today.  Even if you don't have any plans to dine out, it could be worth stopping by your favorite restaurants to pick up gift cards which can be used later.  It may not be a huge amount of extra miles but even a couple of hundred extra miles each month can add up over time.
